EMERGENCY CLOSING INFORMATION

In the event of an emergency, all parents will be notified  by phone using our Honeywell Automatic Alert System. In addition, the following Chicago area broadcast stations will provide emergency closing information for St. Peter School:   WGN, WBBM-FM, WMAQ, WCLR, WFYR, WUSN, WLS plus WGN-TV.

Please utilize our VOICE MAIL punch 13 at the recording when  calling  in absentees before school begins and leave a message.

All classes during half days of school for kindergarten through the eighth grade will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m.

Children who are picked up late (after 3 p.m.) will be waiting for you in the Sunrise/Sunset Program.  There is a $ 3.00 charge up to 3:15 pm or a $ 5.00 charge up to 3:30 pm.  Children picked up after 3:30 pm will be assessed the regular fee.

Students should not enter the school building through the front door in the morning.  Students are to meet their classmates at the north end of the primary wing no earlier than 7:50 am.  Students enter the building by grade.  The front door should only be used by tardy students, parents or guests.

“Food Service Professional” lunches are served on full days of school - 4 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  The “Special Lunch” is a separate lunch program using fast food vendors that are served every Wednesday and special days. Lunch Orders are done on a Monthly pre-pay basis.  Bringing lunches into school during lunch time is discouraged.  The school does not provide a microwave nor refrigeration for lunches brought from home.
