LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Friends,
First off let me say that I am overjoyed at the
fact that I am now a member of the St. Peter Community. This is a
great school with an excellent faculty who will work tirelessly to
ensure your child’s success. There are so many things going on at
St. Peter School and I will try to list them all for your
information, but know at St. Peter School, academics always come
first. We have a small class size which will give your son or
daughter the proper attention he or she needs to improve their
learning skills.
At St. Peter School we have computers, in every
classroom and have recently adopted Smartboards to provide our
students with better visual aids, easily downloadable films,
videos and clips, and interactive learning which will prepare our
students for the 21st century.
There are numerous opportunities for your child’s
after school activities. Sports that are offered include
volleyball and basketball for both boys and girls, cheerleading
for girls, and football for boys. Other after school activities
includes chess club, dance, drama, art, math and science.
Our Before and After School Program (7:00 a.m. -
6:00 p.m.) enables students to do their homework and have free
playtime with their friends. Students must be enrolled in
Preschool through 8th Grade to be eligible for the before and
after school programs.
Our Religion program teaches the children about
their Catholic faith. Weekly Mass as well as daily religion
classes are offered. The students are also involved in service
projects throughout the year helping students to understand the
surrounding community as well as the simple fact that we are to
serve one another as Christians.
